About

Hi there!

I’m a college girl who recently turned towards the paleo lifestyle. I started this journey because I have acne. I have also had a lifetime of getting sick, aching muscles, hives, and a love for all foods poisonous to me.

I’ve spent my life wondering what’s wrong. At 21, I shouldn’t feel like I’m going through my mid-life. I went to every doctor; I’ve had three ultra sounds, upper and lower GIs, needles in my legs, EKGs, MRIs, and X-rays. No one could tell me that my body was attacking itself. Today, I’m 99 percent positive that I have celiac disease. And I’m okay with that.

I’m writing this blog because there isn’t a lot of literature for the process – the process of learning how to take care of a body in a new paleo diet and with celiac disease. I plan on posting good recipes I find, interesting facts as I learn more about my problems, and anything else I can post to help improve all of our lives.

Assuming you came here for a particular problem, I wish you the best of luck with whatever your problems are. I hope this blog can help you!

  1. Hi Catie! I have celiac disease, so I’m looking forward to following your blog. An interesting fact, is that they now recommend multiple biopsy sites during an endoscopy to see the flatten villi. Maybe that would have helped in your case! Whether you have celiac or not, I’m glad you’re feeling better, and I can’t wait to read your posts. – Kaila
